What can I expect?
When you arrive, you will be greeted by people who are happy to see you and welcome you into our church. As Jesus said; we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, and we would certainly be glad to have you join us whether you come alone, with a friend or as a family.
What denomination are you and what do you believe?
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church believes that the church is the living body of Christ on earth: The Church is God’s family, called by the Holy Spirit, united under the leadership of Jesus, living in fellowship with Him, and doing His work in the world.
How long are the services?
About 60 minutes. We invite to stay after the service for free coffee or tea; we would enjoy getting to know you.
Can I watch online?
Yes, our services are streamed live every Sunday to YouTube. You can watch a past service here: youtube.com/user/sothworship
Can I bring my kids to church?
Yes, children are welcome to worship. We do have Children’s Activity Bags at the Welcome Desk for use during Worship, so please feel free to pick one up on your way into the church and return it as you leave. In addition, there are Children’s Bulletins for different age groups available at the Welcome Desk as well.
What do I wear?
Generally, people wear “business casual”, although some people dress simply casual. If you like dressing up, that’s fine too. What’s most important is that you come to worship God, and all of us at Shepherd of the Hills want you to feel comfortable and welcome.
There is ample parking in our parking lot. At Easter, if our lot is full, people park across the street in the strip mall parking lot.
What if I have more questions?
Stop by the Welcome Desk after worship; someone will be there to assist you or contact our church office at 262-628-2633.
