Psalm 26:1-3 (NIV)

1 Vindicate me, Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord and have not faltered. 2 Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; 3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.

Have you ever seen someone walking while distracted?  Consider those who check their phone and inadvertently walk into a door or a fountain!  These can be helpful examples of what happens when we take our eyes off of our surroundings while we walk.  Today, consider that we are called to walk in faithfulness. In all we do, we are called to be the people of God in this world.  So, what does that look like as you walk through your day?  How can you keep your eyes focused on God’s way, and not get distracted by other things along the path?  Starting our day by studying God’s Word is a good place to start!  Consider today how you might keep your eyes focused on the path ahead.  Together, let us walk in faithfulness.
