Isaiah 40:27-31 (NIV)
27 Why do you complain, Jacob? Why do you say, Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord; my cause is disregarded by my God”? 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

“What does this text say to you about “waiting”? “How will you record those words from this text which are most important to you?”

God, No one can compare to You. You are the creator of the universe including the billions upon billions of stars and the majestic beauty of this earth. You are the creator of the people of this world, even its great leaders are like grasshoppers to You. But yet You love me personally and hold me close to Your heart. Your love for me is an everlasting love, It will never let me go. Help me to quietly wait on You God and study Your Word, pray, worship, and meditate on Your love for me. Restore me, Lord, re-energize my strength as I wait on You. I submit to Your power. Amen
