Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
We’ve heard it said many times, “God has a plan for you!” It is, undoubtedly true… yet… how, exactly are we to figure out what that is on any given day? As with many things, practice makes progress. When our focus is on God, when we study God’s word and hang out with his people, we become better acquainted with God’s plans. God says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Rom 12:2) How do we continue to ‘renew our minds,’ to focus more on God? What can you do today to remind yourself that you are called to focus on your Heavenly Father?
