Ephesians 4:31-5:2 (NIV)
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. 5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
When we truly comprehend the love that God has shown us it should transform us. We should do the things that Jesus did to heal, save and reconcile. We should stop doing things that cause pain, suffering and division. We should live to glorify God, not ourselves. We should love sacrificially as Jesus sacrificed Himself for us. We should forgive even the worst offenders. How could your home life change to be more like Christ? How do you treat others at work? Do we forgive over and over? Do we care for each other? When we post on social media is it a political rant or something that glorifies God? Let us “walk in love as Christ loved us.”
