Romans 16:25-27 (NIV)
25 Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, 26 but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith— 27 to the only wise God be glory forever through Jesus Christ! Amen.

What different words are used to express the “Word of God” in this text?
Think through how each is used and why.

The prophets throughout the Old Testament pointed to You, the Messiah and the Savior of the world. I find it a mystery how You guided them to write of these things hundreds of years before they occurred or before they even understood what their own words meant. The laws of the old testament were replaced with the promises of salvation through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, You are the Lamb of God that took all our sins on the cross and became the ultimate sacrifice once and for all.  Thank You Lord for Your mercy and grace to forgive my sins. I know Your Word to be true, but how You accomplished salvation for all is a mystery. But, I really don’t need to understand how You did it, I just need to have the faith to trust and believe that it is so. In the Bible, Your gospel is revealed, not to be talked of and disputed about, but to be submitted to. Give me the obedience of faith as I read Your Word. Amen
