Romans 12:1-3  (NIV)
12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Humble Service in the Body of Christ 3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

On Valentine’s Day, it is customary to get your spouse a gift. The flower shops want you to buy their roses; Hallmark wants you to buy their cards, and Hershey’s wants you to buy their chocolate. But what does your spouse want? It might be none of those. They might want a new book, tickets to a game, or a clean house. Knowing who God is, transforms the way we think. When we understand that God loves us and has given Himself completely to us we begin to understand that what He wants in return is US!  He wants our hearts and to share our everyday lives. He wants to be a part of everything. Let God’s love transform your heart and mind and let Him in more and more.
