Romans 8:26-27 (NIV)
26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. 27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

In what ways do you see the attentiveness of God to those who call on Him in prayer?

Thank You, Lord, for knowing me and what I am going through. There are times when I struggle with a situation that breaks my heart and I know I need You but I have no clue what needs to be done or what to pray for. Thank You that I don’t need to have a plan or figure things out because You know what is best. I don’t even have to say the words, I just need to say the name or to come to You with my broken heart open to You and Your Spirit will interpret my pain and the desires of my heart. When I am hurting so bad that I can’t even speak, when all I can say is Your name, that is enough. Help me remember that I am not in control, You are. You are a good father who loves me and when I come sobbing in Your arms, You hold me and just know my needs and You hold me close. I love You so much, Lord. I thank You that You carry me through the good times and bad times and that nothing is too great for You. Amen
