10 years ago, the iPhone was first introduced. Very few people felt they needed a phone that could check email or surf the web on their person. Times have changed. Now we are constantly looking at the next phone saying, “Wow! Look at all these amazing things!” Whether it be iPhones, cars, or temple buildings Jesus is unimpressed. Look at the stars. He did that. Look at the oceans. That was him, too! All the things we place our hopes and dreams in will eventually fade away to nothing. The only thing left standing will be God.
