24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because[a] the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
While we are waiting patiently to find times and places to speak the truth of the Gospel into the hearts of those we love, we also remember that God has not left us alone. The Holy Spirit of God is actually working in us and even when we do not know what to pray, the Holy Spirit knows our hearts and is interceding on our behalf before the throne of God that our hearts might be known to God. Continue to lift up the people that you have listed earlier this week. As you do, ask the Holy Spirit to give you patience and hope while remembering that the Holy Spirit is lifting up your prayers to God the Father!
