Deuteronomy 6:4-9 (NIV)
4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
To whom and in what way may you need to share God’s word at this time?
Lord, God, Holy Father, Precious Savior, I want to take a moment to tell You how much I love You. I love You with all of my heart, soul, mind and all that is in me and I lift You up in praise. I want that love for You to just ooze out of me so that everyone can see You in my face, hear You in my words, know You by my actions and feel You by my praise. Let me be bold in my love for You, evidenced by how it is displayed in my home, in the way I dress, in what I do on the internet and in the things I choose to do socially. I especially pray for my children, their children, all of my family and those close to me that they come to know You as Lord and Savior. I pray that my loved ones, hear the Words from Your scripture from me and through me and that they are inspired to read it and love You too. Let me be an example for them, but also put others in their lives that will help instill Your Word into their hearts and move them closer to You so that someday we can all celebrate forever with You in Your kingdom. Amen.
