Psalm 134  (NIV)

1 Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord. 3 May the Lord bless you from Zion,
he who is the Maker of heaven and earth.

This is the final Psalm of Ascent.  Short and sweet, and especially fitting as we have spent Friday night standing at the foot of the cross.  Today we wait; we wait to see what God will do with this unfathomable turn of events.  As we wait, let us place our hope in our God.  If we think back over the history of God with his people, we can draw strength from what we know of God:  Our God has a plan.  Our God if faithful.  Our God loves his people, his creation, with a never-failing love.  Our God always makes a way to bring us home, to save us from our sins, to make us new.  This is our God.  Wonder what tomorrow will bring?  As we wait, join me in reflecting on all the things we know about our God.
