Acts 18:18 (NIV)
Priscilla, Aquila and Apollos
18 Paul stayed on in Corinth for some time. Then he left the brothers and sisters and sailed for Syria, accompanied by Priscilla and Aquila. Before he sailed, he had his hair cut off at Cenchreae because of a vow he had taken.

What does this passage show you about the role of women in the New Testament?

Holy God, You made us all unique and gave us skills and talents. Let us use them for Your glory! Priscilla and Aquila were a husband and wife team who worked together in the tent trade. Paul mentored their faith as they traveled with him. In turn, they mentored others. Throughout their ministry, the couple exemplifies kindness, hospitality, and hard work, no matter where God plants them. Priscilla was a strong woman, worked hard in business, cared for others, and nurtured their faith. Let me be a Priscilla. Guide me to people who can mentor and strengthen my faith. Allow my heart and mind to be open to their examples and to listen to their words of wisdom and faith. Let me soak it in and change me. Help me to be kind, hospitable, and work hard in my job, in the church, and in the community. Allow my example and my strong faith to guide others to know You as Lord and Savior. Amen
