13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
True Friends—Find at least one trait in each passage that describes a true friend.
Lord, there is nothing more important and there is no greater privilege in my life than to be a friend of Yours. Having You as my friend allows me to tackle the giants in my life. Help me to grow in a deeper relationship with You by spending time with You, walking with You, praying and listening to You through Your Word and following Your desires. Lord, thank You that You call me Your friend. Help me to love others as You love me. Amen
