28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

Lord, I have come to understand that life is not the random mess it may sometimes appear. In every detail of my life, You are at work. Even when I make mistakes, You work them out for Your good. You are sovereign over all things. Even the cross that demonstrates the very worst event in history, was turned into the event that saved all people for all time from their sins. In the same way, You take even the worst things in my life and use them for Your good if I submit and follow Your will. Lord, how can I ever thank you enough for Your amazing love? Thank you that in all things You are working together for the good in my life. I trust that absolutely nothing can separate me from Your love. Amen.
