Psalm 55:12-14 (NIV)
12 If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. 13 But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend, 14 with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship at the house of God, as we walked about among the worshipers.

False Friends—Find one or more traits that describe a false friend.

There is probably nothing that is more painful than the betrayal of a friend. I have people in my life who I was loyal to, who I loved and was committed to, but when the situation looked more profitable for them to take a different path, they left me in the dust and it hurt really bad. Lord, it is hard to let go of personal pain like that. Don’t let the worries and disappointments of life overwhelm me. I turn to You Jesus for comfort and strength. Thank You for listening to my tears, and never leaving my side. Overtime You have strengthened me and have given me Your peace. Help me to be conscious of how I treat others so that I don’t carelessly hurt them our of selfish motives, but love them and treat them with respect. Today I want to bring you my cares and cast all my hurts and pains on you. I trust You. Amen.
