Hebrews 10:19-23 (NIV)
A Call to Persevere in Faith
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

In what ways do you see the attentiveness of God to those who call on Him in prayer?

Thank You God for sending Your Son to be the sacrificial lamb to pay the price for our sins once and for all. The animal sacrifices of the old testament were abolished through Your act of mercy and grace. You also tore the curtain in the temple when Jesus’ mission was finished and he died on that cross. With that, You are no longer hidden and separated but You sent Your Spirit to dwell among us and within our hearts so that we can have a personal relationship with You. That is an amazing gift and blessing and privilege. Help me not take that privilege for granted since it came at a great cost to You. Let me start each day with Your blessings in prayer, remind me to speak with you for guidance and support throughout the day and end each day with thankfulness and fill me with Your peace. Fill my heart with Your Holy Spirit so that I can do all things in You who strengthens me. In Your Holy Name, Amen
