For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at table? But I am among you as the one who serves. Luke 22:27
Compassion Ministries is the coordinating umbrella under which 25 active ministries fall. Each of these ministries is supported by our church budget, but the true impact is shown through the hands and feet of those who serve. This list shows how much ministry can happen when Joyful Servants of Christ step out in Faith, Fellowship and Christian Love to lift up those in need.
“…whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” Matthew 25:40
COMPASSION MINISTRIES BINS
Compassion Ministry Collection Bins Located on the wall outside of the Conference Room are collection bins if you wish to donate to Operation Christmas Child, Serenity Inn, The Food Pantry or Soles for Jesus.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 1 Peter 4:10
COOKIE JAR
Did you know that we have a “Cookie Jar” which is the pastors’ fund to help members/visitors who are in need? This fund is running low, so if you feel called to support this outreach you can add it to the “other” area on your offering envelope or contribute in the large jar in the church lobby next to the Food Pantry shelves.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, Colossians: 3:12
