Ephesians 2:6-10 (NIV)

6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We are saved by grace and created for a purpose!  You may have heard this reality before.  Yet, it is still humbling that the creator of the universe would seek to draw you and I close, to call us his own and to design a world where we are integral to his plans and purposes!  Yet, this is the truth of the matter.  God has created you and I to share his love, grace, and peace with the world around us.  This might mean being kind to someone in the midst of our daily routine.  This may mean traveling to Texas to help with cleanup efforts.  And there are a million shades of service in between.  What do you think God has called you to do today?  How can you honor God and serve one another in the midst of this day?
